Created in 1987, ARTTIC is an independent European provider of management services, especially in the area of large international collaborative R&D projects. ARTTIC is a set of companies based in France, Belgium, Germany, the UK and Israel. ARTTIC is an SME with a total workforce of about 75 persons. ARTTIC provides specific and practical help with all aspects of international R&D projects. Services include helping clients specifying their R&D strategy; establishing project feasibility; finding international participants; establishing consortia; managing the proposal development activities; helping negotiate contracts; taking charge of all management aspects of live projects; helping to disseminate and exploit successful project results and preparing development and business plans.
ART will lead WP7 (Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication) and assist the Coordinator in WP6 (Project Management) in the various administrative management activities, such as project controlling, reporting, finances and contractual management.
Dr. Claudia Pfander
Dr. Pfander has completed her PhD in Biology at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry in 2005, following an undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the Westfälische-Wilhelms-Universität, Münster. Afterwards she has worked for several years as scientific project lead and manager at Imperial College London and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute for cross-functional projects in the field of malaria research. Since 2012 Claudia Pfander has been working as international project manager on the whole value chain (conception, grant applications, contract negotiations, project and finance controlling and reporting, public relations). She has substantial expertise in research project management for projects under FP7, H2020 and IMI.
